A stage in the heart of Ware
Beneath its medieval arches, St Mary's hosts a lively programme of the arts — lunchtime concerts, evening shows including opera and brass bands, jazz, organ recitals, visual-arts exhibitions and talks. All are welcome, whether you come to perform or simply to enjoy.

Monday Lunchtime Concert
A 40-minute recital given by local performers. Free entry with a retiring collection. Café open in the Hall from 11:30am.
St Mary's Games Café
A relaxed games group for adults and children alike. Bring your own games or join in with others.
Thursday Lunchtime Concert
Another 40-minute recital from talented local musicians. Free to enter; café open beforehand in the Church Hall.

Choral & Sung Evensong
Traditional sung evening prayer led by St Mary's Choir — a peaceful and beautiful end to the day.
Music to brighten the day
On the first Monday and third Thursday of each month, our lunchtime concert series brings a 40-minute recital to the heart of Ware at 12:30pm. Entry is free, with a retiring collection for the work and upkeep of St Mary's.
Come early: the volunteer-run café opens in the Church Hall from 11:30am, so you can enjoy a drink and a bite before the music begins.
Recent recitals have included Sally Quantrill (flute), Shirley Wu (piano), Neil Crossland (piano) and Barbara Manning (piano). For the current programme, please see our noticeboards or get in touch.
